The Concert Hall is situated in Montaigu. The building is
located in a residential part of the city North. The site does
not share a direct relationship with the surrounding public
space. The construction site is caracterized by the lack of
relation with the surrounding buildings. The complex is a
single elyptic building, imposing a certain formal autonomy
in its affective relationship with the environment. Howewer,
the bulding create a strong relation with the public space by
opening itself on the ground floor and by reflecting the
building around. The slope of the terrain is structured by a
single platforms. It is a present and legible architecture,
displaying a simple unity. Facing material consists of glass,
aluminium, and concrete.
