Bazaleti Demo Training Centre of Sustainable Architecture and Engineering

Bazaleti demonstrative educational center intends to provide architects and engineers with modern innovative methods.

Bazaleti Demo Training Center contains educational module, demonstrative mini plant, energy module, mini hotel for trainers and students.
The building was first intended to be private villa on a platform overseeing the lake. During construction the idea of the owner was changed inspired by location and the view. Plans were developed to turn the area in a demo training centre of sustainable architecture and engineering, which on another hand represents relaxing resort with possibilities for outside and inside activities. The building contains on the ground floor a restaurant and a bar, both with a view on the lake, conference rooms with view on the garden and a reception area. There is also a parking and a big covered seating area in the garden.
Bazaleti training centre is three storey building; overall area is totalling 1200 square meters; 400 square meters of green, 36 square meters of swimming pool, 150 sq. meters of poolside terrace with decking, 80 sq meters of lounge and 50 square meter green bar.
According to the project proposal, the accommodation will include 8 en-suite guest rooms for both training recipients and trainers (capacity-16 persons), 2 training rooms (80 square meters), and technical library (69 square meters). The building can offer kitchen and dining rooms for 50 heads, designated accommodation for personnel, as well as fruit processing demo plant (350 square meters) and demo cold storage for fruit & vegetables (80 square meters).
Training centre offers demo greenhouses (64 sq. m), fruit garden (1200 sq.) and decorative kitchen garden (300 sq. m). Irrigation is implemented via bore-hole situated under the ground at the depth of 25m.

For maintaining high efficiency of energy supply to training centre and demo plants energy consumption and generation must remain in effective correlation. For the purpose of achieving efficiency, all knots have been unified under one, centralised energy distribution center that ensures common energy management of the building. The methodology guarantees zero emission of the building. (Passive energy)
Alternative energy supply station to Bazaleti training center represents metallic construction tower and has adjoining alternative energy (solar, wind, soil water and agricultural waste biomass) separate generators for electricity, hot and cold water, cleansing biogas storage and distribution systems. Energy station generates full amount of energy needed for training centre heating, cooling, electricity supply, water supply and ventilation.
Bazaleti demo training center of sustainable architecture and engineering, welcomes all those who are interested in green engineering and technologies.

Project is oriented on the “Green Architecture” approach. All buildings of the training center fit into the landscape as much as possible and their establishment on the territory has minimal effect on the environment as during the construction process also during the exploitation of the buildings. The appearance of the complex is based on the landscape. All materials used during the construction are reusable (OSB, aluminum, partly reinforced concrete). Materials used are maintained in the interior as much as possible and are not be covered with decorative materials. Green roof is used for covering the building in order to re-store the natural landscape covered by the building and to reduce energy usage during exploitation, as during heating in winter, also conditioning during summer. Water collector system is installed for WC-s and watering the garden. Filtering of technical water and its secondary use for abovementioned purposes, and septic and gravel filtering systems are also installed. Usage of daylight and solar energy is practiced or energy efficiency purposes.
