Viimsi Artium has mixed program, serving as a community center, professional art and music perfomance space and home to
music-, art- and science schools for children.
Architecture of Viimsi Artium creates a strong connection with the unique location and the landscape. Artium building is like a bridge - quite literally a bridge from the suburbian stripe into the primeval forest, but also indirectly it bridges wild landscape with contemporary culture and with experience of them both.
The concept is based on -
